Do I have to spend time registering as an online shopper?

Our website has been designed to be simple and effective to use. We recognise that not every browser wants to complete registration forms, however it is customary for registration.  You can then update your details when necessary. We therefore only ask the necessary information at the time of registration.


How do I purchase online?

Our website has been designed to be user friendly for our customers in 10 easy steps:

Step 1: From the left hand column select your choice of category and a number of sub-categories will appear. Click on a sub-category and our range of products will display.

Step 2: The initial view of the product for sale will show a picture of the product and a brief paragraph of the product. The cost of the product will also be displayed.

Step 3: To view the product in more detail click either on the heading or on the icon box “more details”. Here you will find more details of the product including size, shape and colour preferences (if any). If you would like a bigger picture of the product, click on the pictures and it will be expanded. 

Step 4: If you would like to purchase a particular product, you will click on “add to cart”. A box will appear “The product quantity has been updated”. Press continue to carry on shopping.  On the left hand side, a summary of your bag will appear.  Click on this icon box at any time to see the items you have selected.

Step 5: Once you are have decided you have completed your online shopping, you will click on "Show Cart” on the icon box.

Step 6: Should you wish to add more items, click on products drop down menu and start finding your products again.

Step 7: If you are satisfied with your order, you will click on “Check out”. Here you will check your items, your billing address and enter a coupon code if necessary.   You can change your billing information from this screen as well.  Click next.  Check once again all information and you can leave a personal message on this screen.  Click "Confirm Order".

Step 8: You will now be taken to the Virtual Services Payment Gateway to process your credit card payment. Lady Jane has no record of your credit card details so please ensure that all details are correct. VCS will ask you to wait a few seconds.  

Step 9: Once payment is made, you will receive a receipt from VCS, and a confirmation Lady Jane order to your email address. This should happen immediately on placing and paying for the order.

Step 10: Once Lady Jane has processed the order, we will obtain a tracking number from the SA Postal services. You will be sent a confirmation email from Lady Jane of your tracking number. You will also be able to insert your order number under “Order tracking” to obtain the tracking number after 72 hours of placing the order. And then you will be able to collect your parcel from your nearest post office within a few days. 


What if I would like my purchase immediately and do not want to wait 4-6 days?

In order to provide the best service to you possible, we can make specific arrangements for Next Day delivery, provided we have the required stock on hand, and the order has been received reasonably early in the morning. In this instance, please purchase your products online, and request an urgent delivery in the “Special messages” comment box on the final page. In order to deliver as soon as possible we will then call you with a quote to either send by courier or Speed Services.


What if I purchased something incorrectly and need to change or cancel part of the order?

If the order is placed, and we have not yet dispatched the item, ie you would have at least 24 hours to make changes, please email us. Once the payment has been settled via VCS, we will be able to refund you with a refund through VCS. We can not make a refund if the order has already been dispatched.


What if a product purchased does not work on delivery?

The nature of the product is that we do not give refunds. Please read our refund policy under “Delivery Policy”. We pride ourselves on quality products and all our products are checked prior to dispatch to ensure they leave Lady Jane in working order.


How do I look after my products?

Please remember the nature of a small battery operated product, so they should be handled with care. Always remember to remove the batteries from the products as this will wear down the product’s mechanisms and flatten the battery.

Ensure that unnecessary liquids do not get into the mechanisms of the products. Do not use strong cleaners on the products as some cleaners may have a reaction to the materials of the products. We recommend that you purchase a toy cleaner from us to protect your products and to avoid infection.   Always clean products before and after use.
