DELIVERY AND PAYMENT

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Lady Jane receives your online purchase instantly. Our online system is linked to Paygate - an independent payment gateway. We do not hold your credit card details and your payment is secure and confidential.

Should you not have a credit card, the order will be received and we will contact you to do an EFT or a manual credit card transaction. 

Additional products may also be recommended and you will be able to do an EFT.



COURIER AND DELIVERY

 

We strive to deliver your online purchase for the goods ordered in the quickest possible time. However due the nature of the products and supplier availability, we may experience non availability of some products and on occasions, discontinued items. We rely on third party courier services and this may also cause a delay.

There are a few delivery options:

  1. FREE COUNTER TO COUNTER ECONOMY for purchases over R750 to main centres under 1kg.
  2. ECONOMY STANDARD DELIVERY charge for purchases under R750 and under 1kg to main centres is R95.

This is the cheapest option, your order is sent Economy with the South African Postal Services. Economy is usually 2 to 5 working days delivery time.

Your package will have a tracking number. You will receive your tracking number via the website.

  1. NEXT DAY DELIVERY CHARGE is slightly more expensive and is sent overnight via Speed Services or our own courier company.

If your order is placed before 12PM we can send Speed Services or Courier. If your order is urgent, there may be an additional surcharge. You will need to call us or email us to arrange a special delivery.

If your order is placed after 12PM, the order will be processed the following day. You will need to call us or email us to arrange a special delivery.

Out of main centres areas expect an additional 48 hour delivery due to courier logistical arrangements.

Orders processed late on a Thursday, or on a Friday, will only be delivered on the Monday by the courier company.

  1. POSTNET OVERNIGHT SERVICE  charge option is available at a cost of R485 (main centres, under 1 kg)
  2. POSTNET SPEED (ECONOMY) 2 - 3 days delivery is available at a cost of R 195 (main centres, under 5kg)  
  3. SATURDAY DELIVERY (if placed before 10am on a Friday) service charge option is available at a cost of R395 (to main centres under 1 kg), which may be subject to change due to circumstances of Lady Jane, and or the courier company. 

We reserve the right to quote separately on individual orders where weight is more than 1 kg, orders do not fall within our definition of main centres, or an error has been made on website product prices or weights, or any reason that requires revision of the online order.

If your purchase is large in value or quantity we may need to apply an additional procedure to ensure the purchase is not fraudulent and indeed made by the owner of the credit card. We would liaise with the bank to obtain a Code 10. The bank will contact the card holder. We have no control over the time the bank will take to confirm authenticity of the purchase but is generally not more than 5 working days.

Orders placed after 5PM will be addressed the following business working day. Evening orders can not be dispatched in the evening. They are addressed during business working hours. Our courier service delivers to the recipient on the order and is supported by a waybill number which proof of delivery can be made available to you on request.

DISCREET PACKAGING

SOUTH AFRICAN POSTAL SERVICES - You will receive your Lady Jane package in a white padded envelope. Our postal address will be indicated on the back of your package for tracking purposes and will not reflect the name of Lady Jane.

 

COURIER COMPANY – You will receive your Lady Jane package in the Courier Branded delivery sleeve. A Lady Jane store addressed where the products are dispatched will be on the waybill for tracking purposes.

ORDER TRACKING

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an automated email with your unique tracking number. We will also indicate expected time frame for delivery.

You may then trace your order if it is sent via the South African Postal Services, by clicking on the following link here. This site is maintained by the South African Postal Services and its operational abilities is independent of Lady Jane.



RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

By the intimate nature of our products, our returns policy is limited. To ensure that we supply working products, each product will be tested prior to despatch. Our products are good quality and we ensure that fully operational products are working correctly. 

We endeavor to ensure that we have taken all possible measures to ensure your order will not be lost or stolen. Every product sent by the South African Postal Services is supported with a tracking number. Should you not receive your order we will follow up for you, however you are also able to investigate, and use the website here or call 0860 111 502.

CANCELLATIONS

Lady Jane makes every effort to ensure that the information supplied on the site is accurate. Where delays and out of stock situations occur, every effort will be made to inform you and keep you updated. In the case of out of stock items, every effort will be made to supply the stock as soon as possible. 

In the event that items are out of stock and can not be sourced promptly we can suggest close alternatives which we would recommend as alternatives. 

In the event that we can not supply in your time frame or the exact product you requested, we would refund your full amount via the ecommerce Pay Gate system. The reversal will take a few days to reflect in your bank account which is not in the control of Lady Jane.
